Install the Android app
Choose your language, review consent information and complete basic setup.
Link WhatsApp or Telegram
Connect the messaging channel you want to use for manual ledger entries.
Send your entries
Message income, expenses or credit entries naturally in a supported language.
Check your Passbook
Open the app to review summaries, plan status, settings and optional UPI features.
PRIVACY BY DESIGN
Optional features stay optional
Manual entries continue to work without Notification Access. UPI Auto-Capture only works when you choose to enable it.
UPI Auto-Capture
Hisab Dost checks only supported payment confirmation notifications to identify UPI transactions and help record them automatically.
When a transaction is detected, only the details needed to create a ledger entry are sent securely to the Hisab Dost backend. These details may include the amount, whether money was received or paid, merchant or party information if available, and transaction time.
Full notification text, OTPs, chats, personal messages and unrelated notification content are not sent.
You can turn this feature off at any time in Android Settings.

The Android companion app is being prepared for Google Play. WhatsApp and Telegram are used as linked messaging assistants after setup.
Hisab Dost offers a Free Limited Plan and a Paid Plan. Paid digital features purchased inside the Android app are processed through Google Play Billing.
